About Michaela

A practitioner who understands what it feels like
to not be well

I know what it feels like to sit in a consulting room and feel like a diagnosis rather than a person. That experience is the reason I work the way I do.

My Story

Rooted in personal experience

My path into integrative health began with my own body. Coming through cancer changed the way I understood health — not as the absence of disease, but as the ongoing, dynamic relationship between our choices, our environment, and our physiology.

I discovered Ayurveda — not as an alternative to Western medicine, but as a lens for understanding the whole person. Its principles of balance, individuality, and the gut as the seat of all health mapped perfectly onto what I was learning through functional medicine and nutritional science.

Today I work with women who are experiencing exactly what I once experienced — chronic symptoms that defy easy explanation, a sense of not being properly heard, and a deep frustration that comes from knowing something is wrong but not knowing what.

My Approach

Ayurveda as ethos. Western science as practice.

My practice bridges the wisdom of Ayurvedic health principles with evidence-based integrative coaching. Ayurveda informs how I understand the whole person — their unique health profile, their patterns, their relationship to food and season and stress. Western nutritional science and coaching methodology guide the practical protocols we build together.

The result is an approach that neither dismisses conventional medicine nor is limited by it. I work alongside your GP, your consultant, your specialist — never instead of them.

"I know what it feels like to want more time and space to talk about my whole health story, not just the symptom in front of me. That's the role I play now — alongside the medical care you already have, not instead of it."
